missing the point
Whatever your reason for going to the gym, surely one of the benefits is that it makes the little things in life easier: walking to the shops, climbing the stairs and running for the bus are all made easier by increased fitness.
My gym is down 3 flights of stairs - it takes no time at all going down or up. Why is there always a queue of people waiting for the lift at either end of the stairs when I go to the gym? What’s the point of going to the gym - and probably using the stepping machine - and then not walking 3 flights of stairs?
